For those new to the system, this is how our Battle Of The Band competitions work:
Every band has the same length set time, the first band will be on at 7.30pm. The order on the night is RANDOM to ensure that people get down early and see every band to make an informed decision. The bands all play and independent judges choose the top three bands from the five competing. Fans in the venue then physically move to a part of the room to vote ensuring that no one can cheat.

The annual extravaganza of music at The Lounge Bar, Alton.
Charity fund raiser for the youth projects and care for the elderly which are both based at Alton Community Centre.
This year we are having a slight change of plan and widening the genres and scope of interest for music lovers in the area. We have this gig as a fundraiser and so appealing to as many fans as possible is clearly our aim for raising as much money as we can. There will be two stages as always-one Rock/Metal and one Alternative. The day will start with showcasing our favourites from the acoustic gigs we have been running to ease us into the day's music slowly.
For those that don't like other genres of music-appreciate a cigarette break after your favourite band and get into the spirit of the day!
