Hey guys, it's been so long since the last time I visited that I actually forgot my username!
Basically I was in a not-ska band for ages and now that I'm not with them anymore (musical differences) I need me a band
I live in Shepshed which is near Leicester so local would be good but if anyone has a house needing a roommate combined with needing a full time bassist I'm all ears.
Chuck us an e-mail at C dot Harpham dot co dot uk or find me on facebook Chris 'Ceej' Harpham and make me a proposition.
I have a car (Mitsubishi Colt Mirage 1.6 in black, nomnomnom) and tonnes of gigging experience and did a music performance btech course (DDM) and blahblahblah, more details on request
Looking for any type of band really but something with a mix of genres who enjoy interesting bass parts would be best.
Thanks,
Chris

Anyone know any good iphone apps? - Thu Apr 08, 2010 10:20 am
i got one like last week on a ridiculously good contract and went app hunting
some good ones:
Guitar Toolkit may be about 6 quid but it's an accurate tuner, metronome and extensive chord dictionary that you can play with for ages and even has a ukelele and manodlin setting and stuff
Evernote is basically just a note pad thing but it's really useful for loyric ideas or just general thing you need to remember, it's syncs up to an online evernote account everytime you plug your phone in so it's there on your pooter
Blurb/Marquee is basically just an app that lets you write something then it runs along the screen like a LED belt buckle thing. well good at bars/clubs when it's loud and you can't speak loud enough to order a drink
Around Me tells you where ATMs and places of interest are which is pretty handy
iBone is a fuckin trombone! nuff said
FML for all your FML needs
Crash Kart which is CTR that you steer by tipping the phoen side to side
Melodica is cool but i cba to explain it, it makes cool music
Random Lie gives you a different random lie every time you tap the screen
iPhone > Blackberry

waiting on info for the saxo, it was owned by someone who knows stuff about cars which is a good sign. i'll test drive along with 2 of my mates who are good drivers. I must admit it has an aftermarket larger exhaust and a bodykit lol, but i'd love a ridiuclous looking car so that actually sounds pretty good to me, tho if it looks crap i won't get it
that i can get for about 1200
lupo is basically a really light polo, can get one with about 50k on the clock for a grand. heard no end of good things about them being reliable but it'd need a bit of manning up if i got one cus it's a little girly. Also they're not that easy to find round my parts for some reason, no one sells them on

my girlfriend lives in an awkward place so i know all too well about buses! from mine to hers or vice versa it's 25-30mins easy m1 jobby. on buses it's 2 seperate buses, 3 hours of public transport and waiting. and if i miss her bus it;s every hour

black probably. if not it's getting sprayed lol
i'll get it into a colour scheme
like my shoes http://www.myairshoes.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/431.jpg
and my mountainboard, don't have pics but it's a big greay deck with red and black alloy wheels and balck/grey, red and white bindings
then i'll attack with with big vinyl stickers of alkalinetrio and stuff

VW Lupo or Citroen Saxo? That's pretty much my choice and they're both decent

last year random hand were awesome and suburban legends just made me laugh the whole set. whether you like their music or not there's no way you can't be entertained by them!
sad that i missed out on the year before with sb6 and streetlight though! i heard streetlight weren't particularly inspiring live though

anyone need a date for their tour booked? - Wed Sep 30, 2009 4:24 pm
so i'm sorting out some ska nights in my area (leicester, east midlands) and a venue that closed that used to have quite a few touring bands is interested in doing a monthly ska night. co-hosting stylee. and i'll be sorted out other venues too.
we need some touring bands for headliners and the rest of the bill will be local bands
throw dates at me and i'll see what i can sort out
