I'm not having a go at you, Dan. I can just understand where people are coming from giving you negative reps for posting three times in a row in the space of two minutes.

Yeah I think I might have been drunk when I did it.

It was pretty funny though. Well I laughed.

EDIT: Alright Emma.

What's IOM stand for? The Institute Of Medicine likes ska too? The International Organisation For Migration is full of rude boys and girls?

My guess is its some kind of abbreviation meaning something like other half.

Where have you heard that from??

Tickets are still onsale at SeeTickets.com and if you head to Leeds-Academy.co.uk there's a link on there to buy tickets.

Alternatively if you live in Leeds, get along to the Box Office (it's open every day except Sundays i think) and pick up tickets without any booking fees.

Don't judge a band on their image necessarily, they might not appeal at all to a "Goth" crowd. In my experience most Goths are either into incredibly heavy stuff, or incredibly cheesy 80s stuff.

You look at a band like AFI, and even in their heyday, they were still "Gothed-up" yet played pretty fast punk.

But in answer to your question, i have no idea about any online Goth Communities and am therefore of little to no use whatsoever.

Cannot believe that literally no one has shown this any love yet!
COME ON PEOPLE!

The release has been pushed back slightly, but with less than two months to go, i'm wetting my pants on a daily basis!

The attractive people thread (possibly NSFW) - Sat May 16, 2009 11:47 pm

In response to the Hayden Panettiere picture on the last page, I'm just not sure if I get it. I appreciate the fact that she's a good looking lady, but she has pretty much NO cheek-bone definition. And that's often what makes women look properly womanly. Looks too young almost.

My one to throw in is Zooey Deschanel. She's incredibly cute. And watching Yes Man definitely helps to appreciate it.

£35
No more than you'd pay to see any other band of their size/calibre

Plus the reviews so far suggest that they've still very much got it.
Wish i could go Sad

Great great great live band.
Perfect summer gig too. I'll be there in Leeds most definitely.
Not too shabby at £15 a ticket.

It's disappointing that on a SKA forum, there's more talk of Slam Dunk Festival than there is of The Specials in Millenium Square.

Pama International are playing that too.

I'm not in the country on May 24th either.
Big Fat Bollocks.

What are you listening to? - Fri May 15, 2009 1:48 pm

The latest CD is my player is Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea.

It's hard to place it in a specific genre, but probably falls closest to a heavy-ish Indie Rock. Along the same lines as some of Weezer's material.
Lyrically they're a pretty psychedelic setup, but manage to keep it from sounding too pretentious.
They also use a ton of instruments, from violins to horns to bagpipes, seriously, all sorts of stuff.

Just a shame they split up in 1998...
