We recorded at Purple. Got Andy there to record it as he knew a lot of what we're about.

Cheers for the review! I really want to build up some thoughts so we can improve in areas when we go into the studio again in March to record a new EP.
And your exactly right with the vocals sitting a bit uncomfortably and tracks being a bit long! We hear the second one a fair bit ![]()

Comply or Die/Beat the Red Light and MORE - Friday 9th October @ B2, Norwich - Mon Oct 19, 2009 3:41 pm
The Amazing Fletch wrote:Pretty badly to be honest. I'm putting it down to B2 not being the best venue for ska gigs, or any gig at all really. I remember seeing you, Mr Shiraz and Fandangle there and the turnout was pretty shit then as well. I still enjoyed myself though and I think everyone else who was there did too so that's all that matters.
Don't worry about not playing it was no big deal. Let us know when your gigs are. I hope there's one before the end of November.
How come you can do weekends now? I thought you had that bar job.
Well I hadn't been working there long. Now I can comfortably get days off etc.
Yeah B2 is a bit poor, but we've had some good gigs there long ago. Not sure it'll happen again though...

Easy Star All-stars (Dub Side of The Moon) UK tour - Sun Oct 18, 2009 4:59 pm
Saw the Norwich date and absolutely loved it. If you're a fan of dub music or the original albums the band has dubbed up, do have a listen.
Reel Big Fish UK tour - Thu Oct 15, 2009 12:14 pm
Since it was SB6 two years ago, Random Hand last year, it'll probably be some more Rebel Alliance bands this year. Mouthwash or the Skints?
The Skints "S/T" - Mon Oct 12, 2009 1:43 pm
Fantastic EP. They'll hopefully go on to be huge, can't wait for the album.
Jimmy The Squirrel "S/T" - Mon Oct 12, 2009 1:41 pm
I picked this up a fair while ago, gave it a few listens, which were nice but didn't particularly stick with me. I'll definitely try it again after reading this review though.
Quick sax question! - Mon Sep 14, 2009 2:18 pm
The isn't really a question anyone can answer easily. I'd strongly recommend going to a local music shop and buying a load of different sizes and makes. Find a strength (if you're new to playing it will most likely be a low strength) and try and get similar strengths of different files and brands of reed. You'll find a big difference between different reeds but only you can really decide whats right for you.
Personally I swear by La Voz reeds for my Alto, but I like Rico Jazz Select for my Tenor.
