Introduced as „Saarland’s finest skacore“ Greedy Bees are hitting the european stages with their own mixture of punkrock, ska, jazz and hardcore since 2001.

With the self-produced demo “mission: top secret” (2003) and the upfollowing debut- release “a lifetime for the disappointment” (2004) Greedy Bees made it on Swiss record label 808 RECORDS which is a sub-division of LEECH RECORDS. Within the following years the guys toured throughout Germany, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland and the Uninted Kingdom to promote the album as best as possible.

Inspired by all the touring experience the guys went to studio again in august 2006 to record their second album. Together with producer Phil Hillen they recorded 14 new tracks containing the hard though melodic elements mixed with smooth sing-along tunes which create the typical sound of the band. On the new record though the band integrated far more new elements and managed to let “makeshift wings to the stars” sound more mature and experimental than its predecessor.

That very own sound hand in hand with their live performance allowed the band to support shows for well-known acts such as “the bouncing souls” (US), “flogging molly” (US), “the planet smashers” (CAN), “streetlight manifesto” (US), “kings of nuthin’” (US), “the movement” (DK), ”skarface” (FRA), “biffy clyro” (UK) or “Wir sind Helden” (GER).
