    Resolution 242

Post by Peeky on Fri Jun 19, 2009 12:27 pm

A politically orientated punk/dub/reggae band hailing from the home town of william Shakespeare.

    From the Myspace:

Easy! We are Resolution 242 and we have a few tings to say to ya....

Alot of the tunes we write are influenced by stuff that we are into/involved in like social justice, Anti-war movement, animal rights and the like...

We dont claim to have the answers to any of these problems before you get your anti-political band knickers in a twist! We are raising awareness about important issues that we think need attention and debate, in the only medium we can, music...so we hope you get involved and enjoy!

We have been privileged enough to share stages with the likes of The King Blues,Mischief Brew,Johnny One Lung,Inner Terrestrials,The Dead Formats,Contempt,Minus Society and shit loads more which i cant think of now!

    check em out here:

Many thanks for giving Resolution 242 a plug!

Their debut self titled 8 song CD album should be back from the pressing plant & released on Do The Dog Music in the next few days!

Seen them live a couple of times...very enjoyable, their cover of Police And Thieves always drives me nuts.

Don't forget to tell them that they're band of the week on here. That will surely get them interested in the site.

I must have just seen it on this year's lineup then.

Your female band member looks like Macauley Culkin.
