Aye, true. I moved house about a month ago but haven't updated my address anywhere...Kinda feels like I'm in hiding from the Royal Mail. I like it!

don't tell mum i work on the rigs is fucking awesome. i loved that book from start to finish, the only downside was that i would be laughing on the train while reading it. there is some scary bad shit in there too though, (i'll keep this spoiler free) the entire chapter about the barfight and long running repercussions near hte beginning is the 2nd most depressing thing i've ever read.

i am legend spoiler for anyone wanting to read the most depressing thing i've read.
    Spoiler:
the dog dying in i am legend, that whole chapter is a long and slow mindgame neville is playing with himself, he rests his sanity on that dog, and slowly, over weeks and weeks he gets it to trust him enough so that he can grab it and drag it into the house. the tone of it shifts dramatically as the dog is barking and biting and trying to get out of the house up until it is rested and trusts him, then it just hits you with "by the end of the week, it was dead"

That spoiler thing struck a chord.

my favourite bit is probably from when he was a kid smoking weed and his mate fell into the rose bush, oh so tragic but oh so funny, either that or when he was arrested and put in the riot van with the psycho guy
