Yup, already intended to remind you all a bit closer to the weekend.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi im Xavier and i play bass in a shitty band called Paper Sage and we only made one song and never recorded it (covers of shit songs dont count).
I came here because I bought the ska mutiny megadeal thing and was very happy to find a couple of extras inside. So I thought i should come and say thank you for that, and all your hairs you left on the shirt
I live in the Netherlands btw so I cant go to any of your shows as much as id like it

Re: Introduce Yourself
Ah..... knew there would be a hello thread somewhere.
Hi, I'm Nik, ska fan from the late 70s on, collector of all things off beat, from Prince Buster to Imperial Leisure, and all points inbetween. In a lucky place as a record reviewer on an international magazine, meaning my CD buying isn't as expensive as it used to be. I'm also an occasional DJ on the scooter scene, specialising in lesser heard ska and northern soul.
The scooter scene being what it is, I don't get a lot of jobs...!
For no apparent reason other than something to say, here's my favourite ten ska artists (in no particular order) from the 30 odd years that I've been collecting.
1) Dirty Revolution
2) The Selecter
3) Imperial Leisure
4) The Superheroes
5) Ska Flames
6) Aggrolites
7) Toasters
Sonic Boom 6
9) Bim Skala Bim
10) Desmond Dekker
It could have been a much longer list....
