    It's Cold Outside...

Red Dwarf is one of the best British comedies ever made and if you don't think so then you don't really deserve and opinion. However, the three recent episodes were totally crap and if you may as well have watched Blade Runner instead because every line was the same.

    Wasn't me. Sorry.

Why can't it just be deleted? Couldn't find a button for that.

Anyway I'll forget about it if you will. Rest assured I'll mete out the requisite punishment.

    Nothing to see here.

I've just woken up this morning and realized what you were on about, so you weren't trolling from what I gathered.

Dan said that he'd seen the film and found it boring. I thought he meant that he'd seen the Red Dwarf film and found it boring, which would be an obvious way to get to a Red Dwarf fan (there is no film!). I forgot that I'd mentioned Blade Runner, which I can see why some people would find boring. Not me though, Blade Runner is great.

So in short you don't have to apologize, Dan. It was me who was being ignorant.

the first series was amazing and it went downhill from there.
remember in the first series when it's said that it isn't like in the movies, that there aren't alien civilizations to visit, planets to explore etc, that space is just a big empty nothing? they certainly ripped that part out of the show bible as time went on.

with the notable exception of a smegging garbage pod, there was nothing out there.

i always thought the third series was the best but they were all pretty good up until the end of season six.

Today's fish is trout a la creme. FISH! Today's fish is trout a la creme. FISH! Today's fish is trout a la creme. FISH! Today's fish is trout a la creme. Enjoy your meal.

    I will!

Admittedly the very last few series were quite poor but all programs jump the shark eventually. Most scenes were just setting up for one big punchline at the end. Like this one:

It wasn't me who wrote it I'm sure, although in my haze I may have mentioned to my friend Blade Runner. You should have been able to tell it wasn't me, since even when under the influence of whatever chemicals, my grammar and spelling and all that good shit is up to a much higher standard.

    Who gives a shit anyway?

On the topic, my mate Simon has all the Red Dwarf VHSs...you should go round and nick them. I'm sure he wouldn't mind.

Isn't Craig Charles some kind of sex maniac?

    Cheers.
