VW Lupo or Citroen Saxo? That's pretty much my choice and they're both decent

and how much does it cost to repair a broken door lock?

I don't know anything about cars... so tell me to shut up if this is wrong.. but would it be easier and cheaper to get parts for the saxo?

The most important thing is.... What colour is it going to be!??! Razz

black probably. if not it's getting sprayed lol

i'll get it into a colour scheme

    like my shoes http://www.myairshoes.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/431.jpg

and my mountainboard, don't have pics but it's a big greay deck with red and black alloy wheels and balck/grey, red and white bindings

then i'll attack with with big vinyl stickers of alkalinetrio and stuff

See! I have no idea haha! I think I can legally drive again as of today.. or in a few days or something... I have been considering it quite a lot lately, even more this evening when I had to wait 50 minutes for the bus... grrrr...

waiting on info for the saxo, it was owned by someone who knows stuff about cars which is a good sign. i'll test drive along with 2 of my mates who are good drivers. I must admit it has an aftermarket larger exhaust and a bodykit lol, but i'd love a ridiuclous looking car so that actually sounds pretty good to me, tho if it looks crap i won't get it

that i can get for about 1200

lupo is basically a really light polo, can get one with about 50k on the clock for a grand. heard no end of good things about them being reliable but it'd need a bit of manning up if i got one cus it's a little girly. Also they're not that easy to find round my parts for some reason, no one sells them on

    Uh-oh, what did you do?

I've got a shitty little Suzuki Alto. It does (according to the book) 75mpg and only costs £35/year on tax. My motorbike costs more. I think a Lupo would be the same. But if you're really shallow and care about how other similarly shallow people will judge you by the size of your car, then I'd get a saxo.

Lupos are powered by a small animal in a wheel where the engine should be, but will be cheap to tax/fuel. But they've always looked a bit shitty IMO - think the cincequento in the Inbetweeners...

Stole a car and crashed it....

NOT! Ha! I have epilepsy so your not allowed to drive for a year after you've had a fit... and my last one was around this time last year! Woo hoo! So been thinking about learning to drive... I did have a few lessons with my dad when I was 16 but I kind of lost interest! Wish I'd kept at it now though Neutral
