    Open Season

Post by Summers on Fri May 08, 2009 4:19 pm

Awesome Swiss reggae machine, for fans of the Cat Empire, King Django and the Toasters.

Keep My Fire Burning… In only a few years, the band has emerged from the suburbs of Bern to the best clubs in Switzerland, to Europe’s big cities and to the rotation of the national radio stations. With their absolute passion for music, untiring touring and eight releases by now, they bring fire to the dancehalls of places even far away from Switzerland. Open Season cheers you up with groovy Reggae, Rock Steady and Ska and a deep fat bass to dance the night away.

I wasn't excpecting that kind of vocals (on 'I lost my phone'), but I really like it!
Not too keen on the second song, but the first and third are cool as Smile
    good band!

Cool, I've just got into The Cat Empire, and I really like these guys, their vocals are very Cat Empire-esque, but the sound is very laid back! Love it.
