Skaladdin exists... but they're Sweedish confusingly enough. Also i question whether egypt plays a role in any of the Arabian Nights stories.

The regional idea sounds pretty cool, i'm not sure if you have similar forums elsewhere in the UK, but if there was a southwest region, we could maybe poach a few people from the southwest music forums...which are huge!
As for an idea, a few years ago i used to post on a local bands forum, they had a cool little shout box on the home page, it wasn't used much, but occasionally someone would just write something quite funny in there, and then people would reply, then end up forgetting about it, until someone put something funny in again, it was quite good fun n i've not seen it anywhere else since. It wouldn't be like a separate chat box... that lets face it probably wouldn't get used much, but something just there for entertainment? what ya think?

Is there anyway to change the default colour of hyperlinks? At the moment they're the same colour as regular text.

Yeah but I'd rather not have to do that manually everytime I want to put a link in a post.

Can't seem to change the posts hyperlink colour without changing all the hyperlinks throughout the forum, sorry guys.
